The pickup C3003 MAXIMUM is fitted with an automatic chain lubrication system. The hotter and drier it is, the more oil a chain needs to be perfectly lubricated. The two drive chains are automatically lubricated with oil from the reservoir at the rear of the pickup. The oil pump is mechanically driven. The system pumps oil to the felt that contacts the chain. The amount of oil can be easily adjusted. The system only lubricates when the pickup is working. So you don't have to worry about chain lubrication and your hands stay clean.
