A clever blow against the corn borer - the 460pro StalkBuster harvesting header , consisting of four equally sized intake drums and two conveyor drums, is characterized by its robust and practical design. The maize stubble is completely crushed using specially shaped flails.
Our rotary harvesting units are based on years of experience and extensive know-how. In use around the world, sometimes under extreme conditions, they prove their strength day after day - as does the 460pro StalkBuster: reliable and always ready for action.
The corn borer larvae overwinter in the stubble. Intensive destruction of these is therefore particularly important. The StalkBuster is integrated into the forager header . The stubble is shattered before it is crushed by the tires of the forage harvester.
The integrated swivel gearbox in the main frame ensures maximum stability, while the cam clutch reliably secures each unit individually. Specially shaped flails guarantee total stubble shredding and can be changed in seconds without special tools thanks to polygon toothing. With a minimum power requirement of just 4 hp per row, the system works particularly efficiently. If mulching is not required, the design is quick and easy to dismantle. Despite full functionality, the transport width remains compact at 3.3 m, with an additional weight of just 600 kg.
